01

Beginner Sword & Shield

Choose this route when the goal is learning room control and recovery. Prioritize a stable attack pattern, enough defense to survive contact, and artifacts that keep the grid simple.

Its value is clarity: you can see which decision made a room safer before moving to a more demanding branch.

02

Greatsword and Crossbow

Greatsword rewards deliberate commitment and large punish windows; Crossbow rewards a clear firing lane and reload discipline. Compare them by the rooms where you usually lose, not by a single damage clip.

Keep a fallback for when the ideal upgrade does not appear. The route is a priority order, not a shopping list.

03

Companion and Staff

Companion builds create value through space and repeated effects, while Staff routes trade positioning for spell or grimoire management. Both need a plan for resource pressure before the boss.

Document the artifact and tablet line that activates the build, then list one substitute for each missing piece.

04

Choose by goal

Use one label—first clear, Hard Mode push, boss speed, or co-op support—beside every recommendation. A build that is excellent for one goal can be awkward for another.
